This is my second purchase of the same item. Our first one took us cross-country without a problem and was very stable. With the newer one, we gave it the ultimate workout; driving a Penske 26' moving van from MN to CA over some curvy roads. Eventually, we ended up on I-40 West from Flagstaff AZ to Barstow CA; the worst highway I've ever driven. The truck was a bucking bronco, even with a rooftop high load. The GPS holder stayed put on the dash in nearly all conditions. Another great Garmin product and fairly priced.

This GPS mount works perfectly for me. It's small enough to fit in a little nook on the dashboard of my Ford Escape, heavy enough not to move, and the fact that you lock the GPS holder to it rather than relying on suction is great. I like it a lot.

I DON'T USE THIS ITEM AS I HAVE JUST STUCK MY GPS ONTO MY WINDOW AND THAT WORKS FINE. MAY I SEND IT BACK? IT IS JUST SITTING IN MY BACK SEAT, NOT EVEN UNWRAPPED.
